A New Museum For Kids 10 and Up
We've grown along with your family, creating MuseumLab as a place where kids 10+ can have cutting-edge experiences in art, tech and learning. It’s just the thing for their inquiring minds, increasing skills and independent inclinations.
Exhibits include Studio Lab, Make Lab and Tech Lab. Gymlacium in The Stacks, a three-story artwork made with rope woven around a steel frame, will open in 2020.
Cool two-hour sessions to go deep on topics like woodworking, sewing, jewelry making, Cricut crafts and more. Museum admission not required, but please sign up in advance to ensure you get a spot.
With the opening of MuseumLab, our neighborhood boasts the largest cultural campus for children in the country. Right here in Pittsburgh!
MuseumLab is located next door to the Children's Museum in the former Carnegie Free Library of Allegheny. Admission is included with Children's Museum admission, and all Museum memberships include both buildings.
